=> This is a fiber-packed breakfast since quinoa and apple contains a high amount of fiber. What important about this recipe is quinoa. Quinoa is a nutrient-densed food with fiber and considered as “complete protein” since it has 9 essential amino acids that our bodies can’t make on their own. Quinoa is also suitable for people who has celiac diseas and gluten intorelance because it has no gluten and low in carbohydrates. The other ingredients also add up the nutrient counts in healthy fat and calories for breakfast. For the dish has so much superfoods and nutrient-densed foods like this, a 10/10 is nonnegotiable.

It has been soooo long since I tried quinoa and this time, I KILLED the quinoa with the methods I learned online. Normally, quinoa is not a thing that usually appear in most Vietnamese cabinets because we don’t have much access to quinoa and quinoa is one expensivee stuff. My mom was so SHOCKED looking at the price, and I tell you that she is very generous person. So quinoa appearance in my house would be only for special special events only. One thing that confused me about this recipe is that there is no sweetener like maple syrup or honey. But once I made and tried it, I understand why. The sweetness from the apple oozed out when cooked with the quinoa mixed with the cinnamon powder tasted like cinnamon sugar, which was mind-blowing for me. Completely replace any sweeteners. One thing kind of throw me off is the texture of the quinos. Now, I’m kind of a texture person when eating, and the quinoa texture was like weird but fun. So overall, I’d give it a 9/10 for flavour, texture and excitement.
