Ingredients:

-Orange, mandarin, tangerine, lime, lemon, grape fruit

-Balsamic vinegar

-Honey/maple syrup

=> This being a desert or a breakfast dish then I’m not complaining. It is full of vitamins, fiber, nutrients in the citrus, and the balsamic vinegar supports heart health, stabilize blood sugar and aid digestion, and honey or maple syrup offeers antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. With granolas or yoghurt, this dish will be elevated more in nutrition and flavour. In terms of health benefits, I’d give it 8/10.

This is a recipe is one of the most exciting recipes I really want to try out. Because I’ve never heard or eaten a citrus food with vinegar before. After making and trying it out, it’s a good dish I can’t lie. The combination of balsamic vinegar, honey, and citrus is one weird stuff, but they all balance each other out in a way I cannot easily describe, so I’m not going to. The one thing cannot be alternate is the balsamic vinegar. Balsamic vinegar is more light, more aromatic and it pairs well with sour fruits better than any other types of vinegar. However, because I broiled the fruits for wayyyyyyy too long in the oven, they became soft so it is hard to detached the peel and the core. This is a new and exciting, I would definitely try to make this recipe again but less time in the oven for the citrus. 9/10.
