=> Despite being an appetizer, this recipe actually contains a lot of nutrient-dense powerhouse like spinach, greek yogurt and artichokes. Spinach is full of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folate, iron, and calcium. It provides major health benefits like protecting heart health, supporting strong bones and boosting vision. It is also low in calories and promotes healthy digestion. Artichoke hearts are incredibly nutrient-dense and low in calories, packing a massive amount of fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. They are particularly renowned for promoting digestive health, supporting liver function, regulating blood sugar, and improving cardiovascular wellness. Greek yogurt is a nutritional powerhouse made by straining out liquid whey. This creates a thick, creamy texture packed with muscle-building protein, gut-friendly probiotics and essential bone-supporting minerals. It typically has less sugar and fewer carbohydrates than regular yogurt. Therefore, this recipe deserves a 10/10.

At first, I thought this dip must contain cream cheese or sour cream or ANY kind of cream, but the minute I saw no sight of cream and see greek yogurt, I was sooo confused. Throughout the whole making process, I was weirded out by the whole greek yogurt and frozen spinach thing, because the ingredients above all have so much water in them and usually, a dip is not watery. I’ve actually tried this dish before but not the healthy version in Canada, it was so good. Rich, creamy, flavorful, everything I dream of a dip. But for this recipe, when I got to taste the final result, it was not good, at all. Sooo watery, the greek yougurt was so sour and not creamy like I thought. I tried to save the dish by adding goat cheese to make it more creamy, but the cheese could not help for anything. One more thing, the recipe said to blend everything together, but that just made the texture of the dip to be like mush, no texture at all just like a baked, roasted sauce. In my opinion, a dip can be healthy when we can just use cream cheese, because cream cheese is not that bad for your health and a dip is like an occasion dish so body can’t get degrated. And don’t blend all of the ingredients but just chop the artichokes, spinach and mince the garlic and onion, and replace greek yogurt with cream cheese, and add some garlic and onion powder to really enhance the dish’s flavour. It was so disappointing because I had so much hope, thinking it would be Canada all over again. So for this dish, it is a 2/10 at best.
