Ingredients:
-Snap peas
-Toasted sesame oil
-Sesame seeds
-Salt
=> Snap peas are relatively low in calories but provide several useful nutrients such as high in vitamin C (helps in absorbing iron, and supports normal immune function), vitamin K, protein, fiber and micronutrients. The carbohydrates in snap peas come with fiber and water, making them a nutrient-dense vegetable. Sesame seeds are much more calorie-dense because they contain a significant amount of healthy fats, they also offer antioxidant properities and micronutrients like iron, calcium, magnesium, copper and manganese. The combination of snap peas, sesame seeds and sesame oil works nutritionally as well as in flavour. The fat from the sesame seeds and oil can help your body absorb fat-soluble compounds from the vegetables, while the snap peas add fiber and micronutrients that aren’t present in significant amounts in the oil. It also creates a nice contrast: crisp and slightly sweet snap peas plus nutty sesame seeds plus rich, aromatic sesame oil. For this recipe, I would give it a 9/10.
This is the quickest and easiest make-ahead dish. It is easily accessed since the ingredients are all affordable and widely sold in markets. The process was easy enough to make me fall in love with, I would make this daily to eat as snack. I genuinely love the nuttiness, richness, sweetness and the crisp. I give this a 8,5/10 in terms of experience.
